On Saturday, October 16, members of the Wesleyan and greater Middletown communities attended the student-organized 2021 Pumpkin Fest at Long Lane Farm. The event was made possible with support from the College of the Environment and the Green Fund.
Some of the many Wes student groups that performed at the event included Goat Milk, the Clay Rodgers Band, Miranda Finn, Emily Bloom, Skye Hawthorne, Bella Amenta, and Lilly Gitlitz. Pumpkin Fest also featured free veggie burgers and hot cider, courtesy of Bon Appetit; stations for arts and crafts; thrifting; and bake sales, with proceeds donated to Middletown Mutual Aid Collective. Wesleyan crafters and student groups tabling at the event included the Botany Club, the Green Fund, WILDWes, Farm House, clothing by Holly Green and Anya Kisicki, USLAC, the Allbritton Center, Wesleyan Veteran Organization, WJC, Bread Salvage, Cardinal Kids, and Natasha Marder.
